Schools, anganwadis to remain closed in Chikkamagaluru on July 4 due to heavy rain forecast

Chikkamagaluru: In view of the continuing heavy rain across the district, Deputy Commissioner C.N. Meena Nagaraj has ordered the closure of all government and private primary and high schools, as well as anganwadis and child care centres, on Friday, July 4, as a precautionary measure.

The holiday applies to schools and child centres located in Kalasa, Sringeri, Koppa, Mudigere, Narasimharajapura, and Chikkamagaluru taluks.

Authorities have urged parents and school managements to stay updated with weather-related instructions and take necessary safety precautions.
