A small police aircraft crashed into the sea near a popular beach town in Thailand, killing all six people on board, according to officials, reported Associated Press.
The plane was on a test flight for parachute training preparations in Hua Hin district when it crashed around 8 am, according to Royal Thai Police spokesperson Archayon Kraithong.
All six individuals on board were police officers, Archayon confirmed. He added that five of them died at the scene, while one succumbed to injuries later at the hospital.
The cause of the crash is unknown as of now. Archayon said that officials are currently collecting evidence, including data from the plane's black box.
