Political commentator and journalist Megyn Kelly said it is hard to believe that Kamala Harris could appear at Joe Rogan's podcast. Trump is slow and steady and has not changed a thing about his campaigning, Kelly said, but Kamala Harris going to adversarial media like Fox News is unbelievable. Kamala Harris was running a basement campaign similar to Joe Biden when he ran in 2020 but now she has put herself out there, Megyn said. "If you have good internal polling, you don't take these risks at the last moment," Megyn said.
Kamala Harris will appear on the 'not-so-friendly'
Fox tonight while her campaign is reportedly in talks with Joe Rogan's team for a possible future appearance on his podcast after Donald Trump said he'd be a quest there. Harris campaign officials met with Rogan’s team this week to discuss the potential interview, according to Reuters.
"It is hard to believe...Rogan is going to do Trump, Trump is going to do which is good but will he do Kamala? By the way even if he does, how on earth is she going to say yes to that. there is zero chance she can handle three hours live on Joe Rogan," Megyn said.
On her Fox interview later today, Megyn said the bar is low and the Left would declare it as a victory if Kamala Harris does not walk away the grilling on Fox but the stakes are high for Bret Baier, the Fox journalist who's interview Kamala, Kelly said. "He's a mild-mannered guy but he can be aggressive in a totally appropriate way." There will be tougher questions for Kamala Harris on Fox News, Megyn said.
Baier said the Democratic presidential nominee is expected to sit for approximately 25-30 minutes at around 5 p.m. ET, about an hour before "Special Report" airs live. "We are going to run it uninterrupted, unedited, all the way," Baier said on the eve of the interview.
