Kamala Harris ' running mate Tim Walz did not have the vice president's number saved on his phone. And he missed her call which was about to change his life. He got a second chance when Kamala Harris' aide called him and asked him to take the call. Finally, his life changed when he was told that he would be Kamala Harris' running mate in the presidential election. Then of course, he saved Kamala Harris' number but Tim Walz told Jimmy Kimmel that he saved Kamala Harris' number as "My dry cleaner".

"They told me to come up with something and that was all I could think of," Walz said.

Kimmel asked him what if the actual dry cleaner calls to let him know his suit was ready. "I didn't think that far ahead," Tim Walz said.

The Minnesota Governor traveled to Los Angeles on Monday evening for his late-night debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! One of the issue they discussed was the call from Kamala Harris that informed him that he was going to be the VP candidate of the Democratic Party. “It was an unmarked number so I’m thinking it’s like a car warranty thing. I got a call from a high ranking aide and said, ‘Pick up your dang phone,’” Walz said as the audience was already laughing.

“Is she in your contacts now so that doesn’t happen again?” Kimmel asked leading to the hilarious revelation.

Kamala Harris makes Tim Walz smile, the VP candidate said explaining their understanding. "We get on really well, she’s amazing, she makes me laugh. And, by the way, I think the president should know how to laugh, not at someone but with things."

Tim Walz received praises on social media for his hilarious presence on Jimmy Kimmel show. Please take a few minutes out of your day & just feel the sheer joy, happiness, & optimism that Gov. Tim Walz brings. It’s infectious. He is such a good, kind, & decent person & we need people like him serving our country. You will smile watching this," one wrote.

"Tim Walz on Jimmy Kimmel is the kind of positivity and optimism we need for the next month," another wrote.
