Flipkart-owned Myntra has seen a surge in sales of travel and vacation-related categories as summer travel season has started. According to the e-tailer, emerging segments such as Luggage and Travel Accessories and Beauty have seen an incremental growth in demand, reflecting how shoppers are gearing up for their holidays. Myntra’s hyper-speed proposition M-Now has seen sales jump for travel purchases.
Trolley bags and backpacks are said to have witnessed a 5X and 2X surge in demand (March-April 2025 vs January-February 2025) respectively. Sunglasses too have seen a spike of 29X. Among the Beauty and Personal Care (BPC) products, Lipsticks, Perfumes, Daycreams and Shampoos have seen the highest demand.
Commenting on the surge in demand and customer growth, Neha Wali, Senior Director, Category Management, Myntra said, “The current travel and vacation season is driving strong, multi-category growth on Myntra, with customers across the country—especially from non-metros—shopping for everything from stylish luggage and on-the-go beauty essentials to breezy vacation fashion. Our quick-commerce offering, M-Now, is playing a pivotal role in meeting last-minute needs, witnessing sharp spikes in demand for trolley bags, sunglasses, and beauty products.”
