Akshaya Tritiya 2025: Significance
Akshaya Tritiya is a major festivals in Hinduism. This day is celebrated with immense joy and happiness. Akshaya means "never diminishing" and this day holds a great religious and spiritual significance. The day is filled with auspiciousness and considered sacred for purchasing gold, silver, other important useful goods, new investments, it is also considered auspicious for performing Griha Pravesh ceremony. Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on the third day or Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakha, a sacred month when all the followers of Lord Vishnu worship him with utmost devotion and dedication. Many auspicious events occurred on this holy day of Akshaya Tritiya. It is believed that on very dsay, Treta Yuga began, Lord Krishna presented an Akshaya Patra to Draupadi and Pandavas. The day of Akshaya Tritiya is also given special significance in Vedic Astrology. It is believed that the day doesn't need any Muhurat to start any auspicious work. It is considered meritorious to perform Japa, Yajna, Dan-Punya (charitable deeds), chanting mantras and reciting religious scriptures, and performing different puja rituals.

3. People perform puja to the Goddess of wealth and auspiciousness and show gratitude to the preserver of this universe by lighting a diya with desi ghee and offer sweets and different types of Naivedyam.
4. People visit Laxmi Narayana temple and seek blessings of the Lord and Goddess Laxmi.
5. As this is one of the most sacred day, people purchase gold and other important useful items.
6. Chanting mantras and reciting holy scriptures bring prosperity in life.
