The Bhoothnath franchise, known for its blend of horror and comedy, appears to be gearing up for its third instalment. Now, as per the latest report, T-Series and BR Films have reportedly joined forces to bring Bhoothnath 3 to life, with plans to elevate the scale of the franchise.
According to Pinkvilla, following the success of the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' franchise, producer Bhushan Kumar is eager to establish another popular horror-comedy series under his banner. The report revealed that 'Bhoothnath 3', though still in its early development phase, is generating a lot of enthusiasm among the producers, who are confident about moving forward with the third instalment soon.
The report added that 'Bhoothnath 3' has entered the development phase, with initial writing already underway. Key decisions regarding the project will be finalized once the script is completed. The report also revealed that the producers are considering ways to bring the character of Bhoothnath back in a grand way.
According to the report, if all goes according to plan, filming is expected to commence in 2025, targeting a 2026 release. The report shared that the team is pleased with the initial concept they have for the third installment.
