Within the opening weekend, 'Singham Again' is doing well at the box office and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. Talking about this milestone, Ajay Devgn and director Rohit Shetty recently stated that be it a film which crosses the Rs 500 crore mark or the Rs 100 crore mark, what matters is the people loving it.
Ajay Devgn, who played the iconic cop Bajirao Singham in the movie said that the success is important but what matters the most is the appreciation of audiences. "As numbers are concerned, they are important, but I think the most important thing is. we survive on acceptability and love from the audiences. When you get that, you don't tend to go towards numbers," he told Pinkvilla, upholding the importance of fan support.
Director Rohit Shetty, reflecting on the success, revealed that 'Singham Again' achieved the Rs. 100 crore mark in just three days, a feat that took previous films like 'Golmaal 3' four to five weeks. He admitted that the rapid success no longer carries the same satisfaction as it once did. "Once you grow up and the brand becomes bigger, numbers will come... you have to live with that," Shetty shared, highlighting the evolving nature of success in the film industry.
'Singham Again' is now placed as the highest grossed film of all Singham franchise films, which also counts in the list of star-studded ones, one may find Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
