TN SSLC result 2025: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, declared the SSLC (Class 10) examination results for the academic year 2024–25 on May 16, 2025, at 09:00 AM. The state has recorded an impressive pass percentage of 93.8%. It is 2.3 percent higher as compared to last year's 91.5%.
This year, a total of 8,71,239 students appeared for the public exams held in March. Of them, 8,17,261 students successfully cleared the examinations. Continuing the trend of outperforming their male counterparts, girls registered a pass percentage of 95.88%, while boys recorded 91.74%, showcasing a gender gap of over four percentage points in favour of female students.

Among the 12,485 schools that participated in the SSLC examinations, 4,917 institutions achieved a 100% pass result, underscoring the strengthening academic standards in the state’s school system. In terms of subject-wise excellence, science emerged as the top-performing subject, with 10,838 students scoring a perfect 100 in the paper.
Sivagangai district stood out as the best-performing district with a pass percentage of 98.31%, reaffirming its status as a consistent academic achiever in Tamil Nadu’s education landscape.
Students can access their individual scorecards from the official websites — www.tnresults.nic.in, www.dge.tn.gov.in, and DigiLocker — using their registration number and date of birth. Original marksheets will be distributed through respective schools in the coming days.

- Click on the result link: On the homepage, find and click the link titled “SSLC March 2025 Results”.
- Enter required credentials: You will be prompted to enter your: Registration Number, Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format
- Submit the information: Click on the ‘Submit’ button to proceed.
- View your result: Your provisional marksheet will appear on the screen. This includes subject-wise marks, total score, and qualifying status.
- Download and save: Download the result and take a printout for future reference until the original marksheet is issued by your school.
