Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) police registered a criminal case against five persons, including an Indian residing in Kuwait, for allegedly being involved in human trafficking by luring people on the pretext of sending them to Middle East countries without valid documents.
This came to light after Khadeerun Shaik, a resident of Kadapa, was caught during immigration check after the officials found that her Indian Passport was allegedly tampered. She was in possession of an ECR (Emigration Check Required) passport.
During her questioning, officials came to know that five agents, hailing from Kadapa and Vijayawada districts, helped in making the forged Visa of Kuwait. Based on the complaint given by Immigration officials, a case was registered against the five persons. TNN
