Seunghan to re-join RIIZEAlmost 10 months after Seunghan went on a hiatus due to multiple controversies, SM Entertainment finally announced his return to RIIZE. The label released an official statement that read, "We plan for Seunghan to gradually participate in some of the group's scheduled activities for November and greet the fans once again. We sincerely apologize for causing confusion and difficulty for the fans who have watched over and cheered for RIIZE's growth."

HyunA and Yong Junhyung tie the knotOn October 11, HyunA and Yong Junhyung got married in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by family and close friends. The couple, who publicly announced their relationship in January 2024, opted for a wedding at a luxurious mountainside resort in Seoul. NewJeans' Hanni to testify on bullying at National Assembly NewJeans' Hanni was recently requested to testify at the National Assembly for an audit on workplace bullying. Expressing her willingness to attend the audit, the K-pop star shared via Phoning, "I’ve decided. I will attend the National Assembly alone for the audit. I’ve made the decision for myself, the other members of NewJeans, and Bunnies. It’s not hard for me. I want to attend. I’ve thought about it a lot, and I believe it’s the right thing to do." Ex-NCT member Taeil charged for quasi-rapeFormer NCT member Taeil was reportedly investigated under the suspicion of aggravated quasi-rape by the Bangbae Police Station. The K-pop idol has allegedly been accused of sexually assaulting a woman, who was intoxicated, along with two acquaintances in June 2024. It is believed that none of his acquaintances involved in the crime are public figures. Taeil's case was transferred to the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office on September 12. Suga DUI case update There's been a couple of updates in Suga's drunk driving case. On October 7, the Korea Communications Standards Commission issued a legal sanction of 'caution' to JTBC Newsroom for broadcasting fake CCTV footage video. For the unversed, JTBC aired footage of a man riding a scooter on the street while under the influence, and claimed that said man was Suga. However, the police verified that the video was not of the BTS star. Since the media outlet had issued an apology, the were not fined for the report. ALSO READ: Additionally, the head of the Military Manpower Administration Kim Jong-chul recently shared that Suga would not be receiving any disciplinary action from the military. Commissioner Kim explained, "This is due to legal stipulations. While active-duty soldiers might feel disadvantaged, the application of the law for social service personnel takes various factors into account. We're focusing on education and correction."
