Noida: A shooting incident was reported at the house of RLD leader Somendra Awana in Nithari village, located in the Sector 20 area of Noida. Following the firing, the suspect fled the scene, but the police acted promptly and have detained him. The incident is believed to be linked to a dispute over money, and the police are now investigating the matter.Why Did the Shooting Occur?Somendra Awana is an RLD leader, and he along with his brother Amit Awana provide internet connection services. Their cable connection runs near the home of the accused, Sanjay Awana, who also uses this network. Amit went to Sanjay’s house to fix the cable and collect an outstanding bill, during which a disagreement over the payment escalated.Panic after the shootingThe dispute became so heated that Sanjay Awana went to the house of Somendra and Amit Awana and began firing. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the shooting caused a great deal of panic in the area.Arrest of the suspectUpon receiving reports of the shooting, the Sector 20 police quickly arrived at the scene and began their investigation. They arrested Sanjay Awana immediately. The Noida police have stated that a thorough investigation is underway, and strict legal action will be taken against the suspect. According to the Noida Police Commissionerate, the Sector 20 police are treating this case seriously and are reviewing all the details to ensure further action is taken soon.
