While the weather will remain cloudy with just 6% chance of rain from 9.30-11 PM, the showers will set in during the afternoon. There is a 47-51% chance of rainfall along with thunderstorms from 1 PM to 3 PM IST. This could lead to a big chunk of time and overs being deducted from the day's play. However, the superlative drainage system of the Chinnaswamy would ensure that a majority of the play on Day 1 takes place.In addition, bad light and visibility issues might also kick in due to the cloudy weather throughout the day.
