Upgrading to the latest and greatest smartphone can come at a cost, so it's always worth considering an older model to keep bills down. But doing so doesn't have to mean putting up with an antique, as even last year's models have dropped in price considerably. We've spotted an unmissable deal on the - launched in January 2024 - that comes with a free smartwatch. The Currys-owned retailer is offering the S24 on iD Mobile's 100GB plan, costing £24.99 per month and £49 upfront Those signing up for this deal will receive a free Galaxy Watch 7 worth £289, as well as free data rollover, and roaming up to 30GB. However, Mobiles.co.uk has not set an end date for the deal, only confirming it's available 'while stocks last'.
The plan comes on a 24-month contract and equates to £666.76 over the life of the plan. This is cheaper than buying the phone outright from at £699. It's always worth shopping around though, as is offering the Galaxy S24 for £21, but there are some caveats. While cheaper than the iD Mobile option, this plan doesn't include any freebies. It's also longer at 36 months and must be paired with a Sky data plan, which range from £0 for 100MB to £22 for unlimited.
However, keep in mind that iD Mobile is just one of the many providers which increases its prices every year as inflation rises. The company has already confirmed that the cost of this £24.99 plan will rise £26.49 from April 1, 2026.
has achieved a 4.3-star rating on Trustpilot, where one five-star review says: "Good value and fast delivery. Ordered a new Pixel 9a and it was delivered before midday the following day. Plenty of contract options available to suit how much I wished to pay upfront for the phone and then easy to compare month payments from them on. Cannot complain at all."
Another said: "This is my second time using Mobiles.co.uk. Easy and smooth process on upgrade online. Definitely will be returning back once next upgrade is due."
A third said: "Great price, saved me around £8 a month vs current contract. Move to new network went fine. Delivery of phone was really fast. Would highly recommend."
It's not all smooth sailing though, as this reviewer said: "Unfortunately the SIM card did not arrive in the package so I had to chase that up myself with the provider. This should have been done by this company."
