The Chase took a fiery turn on Monday night's episode (October 20) as chaser Paul Sinha was left visibly stunned when a contestant accused him of making an "insulting" offer. Paul - known to viewers as The Sinnerman - joined host Bradley Walsh and contestants Christa, Lynne, Jacob and Arjan as they battled it out in hopes of taking home some serious cash. But things quickly turned awkward when Christa, who earned £5,000 in her cash builder, was presented with Paul's offers and her teammate didn't hold back his frustration.
When asked asked for their opinion on what offer she should take, with -£2,000, £5,000 and £79,000 on the table, player Arjan snapped: "Yeah Sinnerman, what's going on? A £2,000 offer - minus £2,000, that's an insult I reckon." The bold confrontation left Paul momentarily speechless as he stared back in disbelief, maintaining a deadpan expression while the studio fell silent.

Viewers at home were quick to react, with one fan posting on X: "OMG Arjan calling out Paul tho - ballsy and hilarious. Did you see Paul's face!!"
Another added: "I liked the contestant calling out Paul for his low offer, might be a nice addition to the format if the contestants could address the chaser directly and maybe even haggle? #TheChase"
Despite the early clash, it turned into a dramatic episode as the cash totals rolled in. Arjan impressed viewers by banking £7,000 in his cash builder and successfully bringing it home to the team. Jacob managed just £2,000 and was swiftly sent packing by Paul, who showed no mercy from the start.
Christa, who earlier confronted the chaser over his "insulting" offer, also failed to outrun him and left empty-handed.
That left Arjan and Lynne to take on The Sinnerman in the Final Chase, with Lynne adding a hard-earned £4,000 to the prize pot, taking their total to £11,000. But things quickly went downhill.
The final two struggled with slow responses and long pauses, managing just 16 correct answers - a score many viewers feared wouldn't be enough.
Paul was "on fire," according to fans, storming through the questions and catching the pair with time to spare. Social media lit up with praise for The Sinnerman's ruthless performance.
One viewer wrote: "#TheSinnerman today proving why he is the #GOAT." Another added: "Good episode. Paul is so quick," while a third said: "That was cold from Sinha."
Paul, 55, has continued filming The Chase despite being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019.
He previously admitted the condition has affected his mobility and speech but said quizzing keeps his mind sharp.
He has been open about undergoing treatment and called his fellow Chasers and Bradley Walsh "a second family" for their support.
