It's the perfect time to embrace those rich, autumnal hues as autumn sets in. Shoppers are embracing all things cherry, whether the scent or the wine-like colours.

When it comes to fragrance this season, forget pumpkin spice and cinnamon. The sweet and tart notes of cherry have given autumn scent a new definition. Cherry can be mixed with different florals or woods to create sophisticated scents that elevate your aura.

A go-to cherry perfume would probably be , but there are also new arrivals such as - an icconic coffee floral signature with a juicy cherry blast. Its sweet yet seductive sought-after sweet perfume scent takes the signature of Black Opium into a new fruity universe. The dark, strong coffee mixed with white orange blossom and jasmine brings out a burst of red cherry for the ultimate fragrance temptation.

The initial opening of the fragrance is the familiar cherry fruit but soon as it settles, the white floral scents emerge to balance off the strong tart notes - it's a scent that depicts elegance or a dance in twilight. But some said it's "nothing special", with one writing: "I love that it has some brightness but isn't super sweet.

"It's so lovely, but unfortunately, the scent doesn't stay that way on me. It turned to exclusively vanilla pretty much as soon as it dried down and got sweeter and sweeter the longer I wore it. It had a little depth from the coffee still there, but mostly, it was just straight vanilla."

Another new cherry fragrance is . Housed in a elegant faceted sphere bottle engraved with the monogram of the designer's house and a golden cap, the Elixir Love is like a fiery love potion that smells like a floral bouquet with sensuality - it's sweet cherry with damask rose and neroli topped with powerful, woody notes of oakmoss and patchouli.

The lovely bottle is definitely eye-catching to many, and people who love roses and cherries said it's their go-to perfume this autumn. One Elie Saab fan said she preferred the Elixir Love to the original, adding: "It's a nice sweet white floral fragrance with a fruity touch of cherry. It's perfect for the upcoming autumn and winter. And it's inoffensive, so it's perfect for all occasions and all situations."

But not everyone's a fan as a shopper complained that the perfume didn't last too long and had to reapply after a few hours.

Apart from fragrance, cherry-scented makeup is also very popular, and it's great for those who want a colour less intense than classic red. Take note of Gisou's new Honey Infused Lip Oil. The limited shade has left fans excited for glossy, plumped lips with a pop of juicy cherry colour.

Based on the original, , the formula provides long-lasting hydration while leaving an irresistible, festive hint of colour and a delicious cherry scent, all powered by Mirsalehi Honey. Having tried the lip oil on my holiday, I have to say it's hydrating as a lip balm and elevates my makeup with a nice pop of shimmery red.

The curved tip wand make it easier to apply on the lips but the gloss might not last too long when compared to lipsticks, so expect to reapply after food and drinks.

Not a fan of glossy oil-based lip product? in sheer Bali colour might do the job instead.

Let the jumbo sized lip crayon glides on to the lips to give you a bright red cherry colour to last all day. You don't have to worry about getting a pencil sharpener for this as it's self-propelling, which makes it a breeze to use on-the-go or travel.

A beauty tester shared: "Very moisturising, almost feel like you are wearing a chapstick, but the pigment is great, covers well, and stays on. No running into lip lines or dry lips. I bought several colours and love them all."

"Beautiful colour selections! Application is smooth, creamy, and colour lasts," a second echoed, but a third disagreed and said she had to reapply it often.
