"must acknowledge the harm he caused" if he ever wants to reconcile with his brother, , a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex has been embroiled in recent years after a string of against him and the rest of the Royal Family following his sensational departure from the Firm and move to the US in 2020.
William and Harry used to be very close once but their relationship has become strained with the duo reportedly
Harry made several allegations against the royals during interviews, his Netflix docuseries with Meghan Markle and his memoir, Spare. One of them involved Prince William, with the duke accusing his brother of "physically attacking" him, according to Spare. The future king has never commented on these allegations.
Now US-based journalist, Lee Cohen, stressed that William's refusal to communicate with Harry could be linked to Harry's own refusal to acknowledge the harm he has caused with his claims.
He told GB News: "He [Harry] must acknowledge the harm he caused."
The brothers' frosty relationship after claims they did not exchange a word during their joint appearance at their uncle's funeral.
Harry travelled to the UK earlier in August to attend the funeral of his uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes - the husband of Princess Diana's sister Lady Jane, in Norfolk. But reports claimed that the two feuding brothers did not speak to each other.
Mr Cohen added: "William refuses to communicate with Harry and who can blame him?"
"How could trust ever be reasonably restored?"
Meanwhile, another royal expert suggested that there may be a way back to the UK for Prince Harry, as the British public could eventually "forgive" him.
Royal commentator Jennie Bond told OK!: "I don't think Harry has burned all his bridges with the British public. There's something about Harry that remains quite charming and engaging.
"His many attacks on his family will never be forgotten... but perhaps they can eventually be forgiven, by enough people, anyway to make him welcome here."
