A multi-vehicle crash has led to traffic delays on the M2, as part of the motorway is closed.
Police confirmed two cars collided and a woman has been taken to hospital.
The crash occurred heading eastbound, towards the coast, from Junction 2 for Strood and Rochester to Junction 3 for Chatham.
A vehicle was reportedly on fire following the incident.
Traffic information service Inrix said: "M2 coastbound closed, queueing traffic due to vehicle fire and serious accident, multiple vehicles involved from J2 A228 Sundridge Hill (Strood/Rochester) to J3 (Chatham/Rochester)."
