has certainly relished his role as a producer on the forthcoming Formula 1 film. Through his own production company, Dawn Apollo Films, the Ferrari star reveals he has three more projects lined up.

However, before that, he and the rest of the sport will see how well the F1 film is received by audiences when it hits cinemas next month. The movie stars as an experienced driver coaxed out of retirement to race alongside a gifted young talent, portrayed by British actor Damson Idris.

The creators have strived for authenticity in the film. As such, numerous scenes were shot live at actual F1 race weekends, meaning real-life drivers will also grace the big screen, while Pitt and Idris drove specially-modified single-seater race cars themselves.

While most people still have a month to wait before they can watch the film, in Monte Carlo this week, ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix. Needless to say, it wasn't the first viewing for an anxious Hamilton.

"I've seen it like 20 times already, at least," he confessed. "All of a sudden, I've got all the drivers there, I was sat in the middle and I was nervous. I was like, 'Oh God, everyone's seeing it for the first time'. And it was great to look around and see some of the reactions.

"I really care what the drivers think and I wanted them to think highly of it. I think the great thing is the sound is great, the image is incredible. It's something that's never been done in Formula 1 before, so it's something I'm really proud of."

F1: The Movie is set to race onto the silver screen under the adept direction of Joseph Kosinski, who struck gold with the box office sensation Top Gun: Maverick in 2022. Hollywood veteran Jerry Bruckheimer co-produces alongside Hamilton.

The 40-year-old Ferrari driver provided a teaser into his post-racing ambitions as he divulged his ongoing involvement in film production, stating: "Speaking to Hans [Zimmer, the score composer] and having Hans come on board and doing this score, I'm a huge fan of his - so just the whole project was incredible.

"At the beginning you see all the different logos for the production houses and my one comes up, which I worked on for so long - Dawn Apollo. It comes up like all planetary, that was all my idea.

"I've got three concepts that I'm writing. We will be producing more movies over the coming years. I've got these concepts, these ideas that I've come up with for movies. At least two of them will be animations. One of them, we're already in the phase of the first part of the script already. So it's exciting."
