The Celebrity Traitors only broadcasts twice weekly, and viewers are far from happy about it. The celebrity spin-off of the beloved BBC game show has proved a triumph thus far, but fans will have spotted a shift in the scheduling. The annual civilian series, which traditionally begins broadcasting in January, features three episodes weekly that air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings at 9pm. Nevertheless, the celebrity version only provides two episodes per week, missing out on the prized Friday night BBC slot. There is also a total of nine episodes of The Celebrity Traitors, compared to the standard 12 episodes.

Alan Partridge's new show, How Are You? It's Alan (Partridge) will be broadcast along with other comedy programmes rather than a third weekly episode.

Viewers on X, formerly known as Twitter, have been voicing their annoyance over the new schedule: "Two episodes a week is criminal, seriously," wrote one person, while another added: "Why is the celebrity version following a different schedule? It seemed like they were stretching the action out across more episodes as well?"

"That's the only thing that spoils it for me is only two episodes a week, I want it boom, boom boom," commented one viewer. A second chimed in: "Booooo, should be on three times week, two is not enough."

In other Traitors news, fans are "still giggling" after Celia Imrie's "TV moment of the year".

Her co-stars were left laughing when she passed wind while Claudia Winkleman was trying to explain a task. Whilst in Claudia's Cabin, the show's host tried to create a spine-tingling atmosphere with a serious tone that was completely shattered by Celia's bottom burp.

She announced to the celebrities: "Welcome to the worst team-building away day experience in history," as her flatulence echoed throughout the cabin.

Viewers flocked to social media to discuss the hilarious moment as one fan wrote: "Celia Imrie farting on national TV might well be the TV moment of the year. Still giggling."

Another person remarked: "It's been five minutes and I can't get over the fact I've seen Celia Imrie fart on TV," whilst someone else shared: "Celia Imrie farting MUST win the NTA for Moment of the Year.

"Celia Imrie winning a BAFTA for best 'on-screen fart' was not something I was expecting this year," joked a different X/Twitter user whilst one tweeted: "Genuinely can't stop thinking about the insane timing of that fart."
