Ten Indigo, Vistara Flights Get Fresh Bomb Threats, Check Details Here

On October 22, 2024, at least 10 flights from Indigo and Vistara received bomb threats, causing concern among passengers and aviation authorities. Vistara confirmed that some of its flights were targeted via social media and immediately alerted the relevant authorities, activating all necessary security measures.

A spokesperson from Vistara reassured travelers, saying, “The safety and security of our customers, crew, and aircraft are of utmost importance. We are fully cooperating with the authorities and following all the recommended procedures.”

Affected IndiGo Flights IndiGo Airlines also reported bomb threats affecting multiple flights, both domestic and international. Here is a list of the flights that received threats:

6E-63: Delhi to Jeddah 6E-12: Istanbul to Delhi 6E-83: Delhi to Dammam 6E-65: Kozhikode to Jeddah 6E-67: Hyderabad to Jeddah 6E-77: Bengaluru to Jeddah 6E-18: Istanbul to Mumbai 6E-164: Mangaluru to Mumbai 6E-118: Lucknow to Pune 6E-75: Ahmedabad to Jeddah

All passengers on these flights were safely evacuated, and no incidents occurred.

Previous Threats These recent bomb threats come on the heels of a similar situation on Monday, when around 30 flights operated by Vistara, IndiGo, and Air India were also threatened. IndiGo confirmed that four of its flights faced threats on that day, specifically on routes from Mangaluru to Mumbai, Ahmedabad to Jeddah, Hyderabad to Jeddah, and Lucknow to Pune. The airline stated that all passengers disembarked safely, and the authorities acted swiftly.

Aviation officials are currently investigating these threats, and enhanced security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of all passengers and flight operations.
