Defence Minister Rajnath Singh again warned Pakistan that India can go to any extent against terrorism. This is also evident from the fact that we do not care about Pakistan's threats of nuclear attack. The whole world has seen how irresponsibly Pakistan has given nuclear threats to India. Today, I want to raise a question before the whole world: Are nuclear weapons safe in the hands of such an irresponsible and evil nation?
Defence Minister Singh, who reached Jammu and Kashmir for the first time after the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, said that Pakistan's nuclear weapons should be taken under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He met military officers and soldiers at the headquarters of the Chinar Corps, which commands the army in the valley, and patted them on the back for the success of Operation Sindoor. During his address at Badami Bagh Cantonment, Singh warned Pakistan to stop nurturing terrorism on its soil.
The Defence Minister said that India has never been in favour of war, but when our sovereignty is attacked, we will respond. Pakistan is paying the price for promoting terrorism against India. If this continues, the price will keep increasing. He said, Operation Sindoor has given a clear message to the terrorist organizations and their masters hiding in Pakistan that they are not safe anywhere. Our forces have shown the world that their target is accurate and effective. The task of counting the bodies has been left to the enemies.
IAEA confirmed India's restraint
The global nuclear monitoring body, the IAEA, has confirmed India's restraint regarding Pakistan's bases. IAEA has said that there was no radiation leak or emission from any nuclear center in Pakistan. India has already denied targeting any nuclear base.
The biggest action
The Defence Minister said that Operation Sindoor is India's biggest action against terrorism in history so far. For the last 35-40 years, India has been facing terrorism from across the border. Today, India has made it clear to the whole world that we can go to any extent against terrorism. During this, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi, and Army Chief of North Command Prateek Sharma were also present.
The enemy will have to pay a heavy price.
You will remember that about 21 years ago, this same Pakistan had announced in Islamabad in front of Atalji that terrorism would no longer be exported from their land, but Pakistan deceived India and is still deceiving it. Now it has to pay a heavy price for this. And if terrorism continues, this price will increase.
Pakistan opposed Rajnath's statement.
After the agreement reached on May 10 to reduce hostility, India and Pakistan have decided to continue the confidence-building measures, so that the alert level can be reduced. However, Pakistan has opposed the Indian Defense Minister's statement that its weapons are not in safe hands.
Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan said that this shows their ignorance of the rights and responsibilities of the UN agency IAEA. Pakistan's conventional capabilities are sufficient to prevent India's attack, and nuclear blackmail is not needed for this.
On the other hand, an Indian Army official said that it has been decided to continue the agreement reached between the two Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) on May 10. This clarification came at a time when the Pakistani Army said that the agreement reached on ending hostilities has been extended till May 18. Bureau/Agency
