A tragic and mysterious incident in Satna city of Madhya Pradesh has shocked everyone. The body of Dr. Snehal Singh (33), working as an Assistant Professor in Singrauli district, was found hanging from a noose in her in-laws' house. This incident happened on Monday morning in Shukla Bardadih locality of Satna, which not only shocked the family but also raised many questions. The maternal side has suspected murder, while the police is investigating it as a suicide prima facie. What is the truth behind this incident? Let's understand this matter in depth.
Incident details: What happened that night?
Dr. Snehal Singh, who was working as an Assistant Professor in Singrauli, had recently come to her maternal home due to the demise of her grandmother. As per information, her grandmother had passed away on May 22, following which she had reached her maternal home with her husband Abhishek Baghel alias Varun and grandson Sameer Singh Baghel. After receiving repeated phone calls from her in-laws on Sunday, Snehal left for her in-laws' house with her brother at around 11:30 pm. Her mother-in-law and father-in-law live at her in-laws' house, which is in Gopalpur of Sidhi district. But the next morning, i.e. on Monday, a tragic news shook the family.
At around 9:15 am, Snehal's Samadhi Umesh Singh called her father Atulya Kumar to inform him that Snehal was not opening the door. When the family reached her in-laws' house in Shukla Bardadih, the door was open. Everyone was stunned to see the scene inside—Snehal was hanging from the fan in the room, and her nose was bleeding. There were also blood stains on the floor below her body, which made the case even more mysterious.
Maternal side's suspicion: Murder conspiracy?
Snehal's maternal family has refused to accept the incident as a suicide. Her father Atulya Kumar and other family members believe that this could be a case of murder. They say that blood stains under the body and bleeding from the nose point to suspicious circumstances. The family has accused the mother-in-law, father-in-law, husband Abhishek Baghel, and sister-in-law of murder. They claim that Snehal was tortured and then an attempt was made to pass off the murder as a suicide. The family has also demanded a fair investigation into the matter on social media, due to which this incident has become a topic of discussion.
Police action: Suicide or something else?
Kolagawan police station has started the investigation by registering a case in this case. Police say that in the initial investigation, it appears to be a case of suicide, but in view of the blood marks under the body and the allegations of the maternal side, all aspects are being investigated. Police have sent Snehal's body for postmortem, and the postmortem report is expected to make it clear whether the cause of death was suicide or murder. Also, the police are interrogating the in-laws and other concerned people to solve this mystery.
