's performance against PSG has been rated by Manchester United fans after turning out for in the quarter-final second leg. Villa looked to be down and out after going 2-0 down on the night before rallying to go 3-2 up against the French side.
While Rashford did grab an assist during the game, he was unable to help Villa through against PSG as Unai Emery's men suffered a heartbreaking exit.
Rashford was picked to start by boss over Ollie Watkins - just as he did in the first leg - as he led the line at Villa Park, flanked by Morgan Rogers and John McGinn, with Youri Tielemans behind him.
The on-loan star suffered a poor first half, however, as he struggled to get going or create enough openings - often slammed online for a lack of attacking intent.
A much brighter display after the interval wasn't enough for Emery despite getting Villa back into the game as he was brought off for Ollie Watkins in the 75th minute.
Here's a round-up of what United supporters were saying about his performance.

Sloppy in possessionIt certainly didn't start as a vintage display from Rashford - not helped by a poor overall team performance from Villa - but the England winger was sucked into it after being dispossessed a number of times.
One fan wrote: "3 attacks already ruined by Rashford losing the ball. Third one directly leads to a goal," while another said: "Aston Villa’s attack breaking down every time receives the ball in the final third…"
A third United supporter suggested that Emiliano Martinez's blunder for the opening goal should have been the focus of criticism rather than Rashford's poor work in keeping the ball.

He said: "Funny how narratives work. Everyone ignoring the complete fumble from Martinez to s*** off Rashford losing the ball on the other end of the pitch."
Another wrote: "Rashford getting caught in possession, not tracking back, costing his team a goal where I have seen that before? nah lost my train of thought."
Slammed for 'strolling about'There was some surprise that Rashford had been picked to lead the line for Villa on Tuesday night instead of Watkins, who has netted 15 times for Emery's men this season.
And after Rashford failed to make things happen up front, a handful of fans admitted they were surprised Emery didn't go for Watkins - or at least play Rashford on the left instead of John McGinn.
After watching Rashford's poor finishing and attacking intent, one sarcastically said: "Rashford is actually a good player but all he needs to work on is staying onside, passing, crossing, shooting, accuracy, composure, ball striking, heading, mid-ranged finishing, technique, offensive awareness, link up play and 1v1s."
Another said: "I'd be seriously p***** off if I was Ollie Watkins. Imagine literally dragging Aston Villa to Champions League qualification, being a massive part of them getting to the Quarters and then having to sit there and watch Rashford stroll about without a care in the ."
A third added: "Rashford is performing pretty much the same as he did at Utd but its not scrutinised no where near as much."
Praise for 'brilliant' assistSupporters very quickly changed their tune after Rashford sprung to life midway through the second half - first by forcing a superb stop from Gianluigi Donnarumma, and then darting his way through the PSG box near the byline before pulling it back for Ezri Konsa to rifle home to make it 3-2 and 5-4 on aggregate.
Rashford's impressive footwork and assist handed the momentum back to Villa and suddenly there was floods of praise for Rashford on social media.
One was overjoyed at seeing the forward dazzle as they said: "That’s what Rashford has in him! He’s so talented, just has to use it!"
"A brilliant assist by Marcus Rashford," another United fan wrote. "Pure magic. That goal is down to him. Villa Park is rocking and Villa have PSG on the back foot here. This is why we love football!!!"'
Another chose to criticise Ruben Amorim for freezing out Rashford and making comments about him following the fantastic moment. He said: "I just remembered Amorim said he would rather start a goalkeeper coach over this Marcus Rashford…"
