Born in Baltimore, 53 year old Charles is married to Sophie Flack, a former ballet dancer. The couple tied the knot in 2013 in an intimate Manhattan ceremony, followed by a dinner at Il Cantinori in Greenwich Village, New York City, as reported by Us Weekly.

Despite keeping their relationship largely private, it's believed they were together for some time before saying 'I do'. They have two children, welcoming their son in 2014 and their daughter four years later in 2018.

Flack, now 41, was a ballerina with the New York City Ballet for nine years before transitioning to writing and other ventures. Her experiences with the dance company from 2001 to 2009 inspired her novel Bunheads, published in 2011.
