A teenager who was involved in a horror electric motorcycle crash has died with police launching an investigation.
Police in Northumberland said they had launched an investigation following the one-vehicle crash in Bedlington. They have urged witnesses to come forward.
The 19-year-old died following the crash at about 3pm on Friday, July 25, with police having received a report of a one-vehicle collision involving a black and red Talaria electric motorcycle on Moorland Avenue. The rider sustained serious injuries in the crash.

Emergency services attended but the teen died shortly afterward, reports ChronicleLive. His family has been informed, and they are being supported by specially trained officers.
A full investigation has been launched and officers are now asking for anyone who might have information about what happened to come forward. People in the area at the time who might have dashcam footage of the moments around the time of the collision have also been asked to come forward.
Sergeant Christopher Herron, of Northumbria Police Roads Policing Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident, and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young man who has sadly passed away. Our specialist officers will continue to offer them any support they may need.
“As part of our investigation, we’re looking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time. Any information you may have could be crucial in helping us understand the moments leading up to the incident, so please get in touch.”
