One Tree Hill fans will love this Netflix gem with a "binge-worthy" plot.
Canadian drama Sullivan's Crossing, adapted from Robyn Carr's book series, centres on neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan whose world falls apart after some legal woes.
Maggie moves from Boston back to her hometown in rural Nova Scotia, reconnecting with her estranged dad Sully whilst piecing her life back together from scratch.

Morgan Kohan takes on the role of Maggie, starring alongside several icons from the noughties.
Chad Michael Murray, famous for portraying Lucas Scott in much-loved teen drama One Tree Hill, takes on the part of local handyman Cal Jones, whilst Gilmore Girls favourite Scott Patterson portrays Sully, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The main cast also features Tom Jackson and Andrea Menard, alongside recurring performers Lynda Boyd, Allan Hawco, Dakota Taylor and Amalia Williamson.
Following its debut on CTV and The CW in 2023, the programme returned with two additional seasons throughout 2024 and 2025, with the latest run broadcasting in June. A fourth season has been confirmed, which is expected to air in 2026.
Every episode of Sullivan's Crossing dropped on UK Netflix at the start of this month, with the programme presently sitting at number six in the television rankings.
Though it hasn't garnered widespread attention from critics, the opening season received positive feedback, achieving a 67% score on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes based on six reviews.
Sullivan's Crossing has quickly become a beloved series among TV fans, drawing comparisons to Netflix sensation Virgin River, starring Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson.

"Sullivan's Crossing is the kind of show that sneaks up on you - in the best way. At first glance, it looks like a small-town drama, but it quickly becomes so much more; a heartfelt story about family, second chances and finding your way back to what really matters," one viewer penned on IMDb.
Another chimed in: "I absolutely love this show, it's honestly one of the best series I've watched in a long time. While watching, I've gone through a whole range of emotions. I've laughed, I've cried, I've felt frustrated, and I've had those warm, comforting moments that stay with you.
"Sullivan's Crossing is the perfect balance of drama, heart, and healing. It's a true feel-good show, and I find myself binge-watching it everywhere. I just can't stop."
A third fan gushed: "This show is the best thing I've watched in years. It is down to earth and has a very real story. I guess the best way to explain it is that each episode is smooth and not rushed and it doesn't jump all over the place. It's very well written and the cast is full of amazing talent. I hope that this show has many seasons ahead."
Echoing the sentiment, a fourth admirer said: "Sullivan's Crossing is the best show that you're not watching. As a huge One Tree Hill fan, it's amazing seeing Chad Michael Murray in another small town gem."
