Eurovision's Remember Monday is reportedly set to pay tribute to Bucks Fizz in their finale performance on Saturday night. The band will be taking inspiration from the iconic performance from 1981 when they won with their song Making Your Mind Up.
The song became memorable due to its catchy nature but also for one performance element, which went down in Eurovision history. During a key change, the female skirts revealed new shorter skirts as they ripped off their original longer skirts and, 44 years later, it's rumoured that Remember Monday will be doing something similar in their performance tonight.
TV presenter Rylan Clark revealed the element of their routine when he interviewed the band on BBC's The One Show. He said: "What can viewers expect from your performance? I am hearing a surprise with a little skirt."

Lauren Byrne confirmed the tribute while Rylan said he would celebrate with a glass of bucks fizz. Remember Monday will be competing with their song What The Hell Just Happened? in Basel, Switzerland in the 2025 finale.
Lauren, Charlotte Steele and Holly-Anne Hull are hoping for the UK's first win since 1997. The trio met at school in Hampshire and are the first all-female British group act since Precious in 1999.
Asked what their Eurovision final performance will be like, Charlotte said: "We obviously want it to be a surprise on the night, but what we can say is that we are leaning into our musical theatre backgrounds that is for sure and we just hope that audiences love the staging and design as much as we do."

A total of 26 countries are through to the Grand Final on Saturday night and the UK are through automatically due to being one of the "Big Five" countries which also include Spain, Germany, France and Italy. Switzerland is also guaranteed a place in the Grand Final due to them being hosts this year.
Being a huge Eurovision fan herself, if she wasn't performing, Charlotte says she would've been watching from home at one of her annual parties. She explained: "I am a huge Eurovision fan, I have been for as long as I can remember – it's kind of infamous as a Charlotte thing now. We always host Eurovision parties – everyone picks a country, they bring food and drink from that country, we go all out! My favourite Eurovision artist has to be Alexander Rybak who represented Norway in the 2009 and won with Fairytale. I just loved it!"
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 final will air on Saturday 17 May. It will be broadcast on One and BBC from 8pm hosted by Graham Norton and Rylan Clark.
