A dark EastEnders storyline could be set to "ramp up" according to one cast member, amid fears for Harry Mitchell.
With the character set for horrifying scenes in a kidnapping ordeal, actor Elijah Holloway has told The Mirror what fans can expect. In an exclusive chat, the star confessed fans would "soon get answers" about something linked to the storyline.
He also revealed things would escalate, but shared it was an "important" story to tackle. He teased things would get dark, but he's hopeful things will work out for his character.
Elijah told us: "It is gonna keep ramping up. The story we are telling and starting to get into is really important, and it's a story that needs to be told, as hateful as it might be.

"But it will continue to ramp it up. Harry is in a bad situation at the moment, and he got there by trying to protect his best mate because he loves his best mate, and he would do anything to protect him."
Elijah hopes that Harry and Kojo will have more scenes together, and that the bond will continue. He shared: "I hope so. It's a pure relationship.
"They bring the best out of each other and I'd love to see it continue, but we will see what happens." We also asked the actor whether Harry's ruthless mother Nicola could get involved and help her son.
Remaining coy, he shared with us: "We will see, tune in! We will get answers soon but she has been trying to get in the situation, and trying to help Harry. He's got a lot of pride.
"Every time his mum gets involved it goes wrong so you can't blame him too much for wanting to keep her away, but we will see. Maybe it gets to that point, maybe it doesn't. We'll have to see."

Elijah shared he's loving every minute of his time on the soap. He said: "I'm very excited [for what is ahead]. I'm very grateful to be a part of this show, and I'm very grateful for what I have been blessed with storyline wise, and who I've been able to work with."
Spoilers for next week reveal Teddy Mitchell is unable to locate his missing son, unaware he's being held captive by Okie and Ravi who refuse to release him until he reveals where the hidden camera is linked to.
Despite Harry later giving them the information on the cameras, the pair refuse to let him go. Okie is later instructed to let Harry go but he continues to keep him locked up, taunting him by going on dates with Gina. Later, a broken Harry takes drugs to escape his current reality as Okie continues to toy with his emotions…
