The Real Madrid star's legal representative, Delphine Sur, confirmed on Monday that the civil action, initially filed in May, has been dropped. What was Mbappe's complaint against PSG?

Mbappe filed a complaint over the way he was treated by PSG at the start of the 2023-24 season. The complaint centred around France captain's treatment when he was sidelined from first-team activities and placed in PSG’s notorious "loft" group a measure often used to isolate players deemed surplus to requirements.

Mbappe was not invited to a 2023 pre-season tour of Asia and missed the first game of that season but was later restored to the team after holding talks with the club. The financial disagreement has fueled ongoing tension between the player and the club's hierarchy.

Mbappe to battle for unpaid wages

While Mbappe may have dropped harassment charges but Goal.com report states that Real Madrid star is pursuing a separate claim before France’s industrial tribunal to recover €55 million (£47.6 million/$64.4 million) in unpaid wages and bonuses from the final months of his PSG contract

What's next for Kylian Mbappe?

Mbappe will be next in action for Real Madrid’s highly anticipated Club World Cup semi-final against none other than PSG on Wednesday, June 9. It will mark the French forward’s first encounter with his former team since his blockbuster move to Spain earlier this summer.

The 26-year-old joined Real Madrid last summer after seven seasons with PSG. He scored 256 goals in 308 games for the French club, who won the Champions League for the first time last season following the striker's departure.
