Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Drama unfolds in Bhopal, where a thief who entered a house in broad daylight tried to scare the house owner by hanging himself but got injured when the noose unfolded and he fell down.
The incident took place under Bajaria police station on Friday evening. The thief was arrested by cops who reached the spot after receiving information. Parshwa Stuti Colony resident, Rohit Kumar is a railway employee and his wife is a police constable. The duo was on duty when a thief broke the locks of their home and sneaked inside.
In the afternoon, Rohit suddenly returned home and found the lock of the main door broken. He raised an alarm when he spotted the thief inside. The thief locked himself in a room and threatened to commit suicide if Rohit called the cops.

The thief identified as Kapil Chabra was later taken for treatment by sub-inspector (SI) Arvind Kumar Singh. A case has been registered against him and he was being questioned further, the SI added.
