Mumbai: The DB Marg Police have arrested a 25-year-old man, identified as Jameerullah Ehsan Ali Chaudhary, from the Grant Road area for allegedly harassing a minor schoolgirl.
Accused Waited Near Garage to Approach Victim Walking to School
According to police officials, the accused first sent a friend request to the minor via social media on February 21, 2025, and soon began sending her obscene messages. The harassment did not end online—he also used to wait near a garage and make inappropriate advances toward the girl as she walked to school.

Matters escalated on June 19, when the girl’s father was at his shop and Jameerullah, along with some friends, allegedly threatened him with dire consequences. Following the complaint, DB Marg Police registered a case and arrested the accused. Further investigation is ongoing.
