Jaipur witnessed a shocking incident on Saturday evening when miscreants brutally killed a man in broad daylight near Khatu Shyam temple on Road Number 5 in the Muralipura police station area.
The victim has been identified as 35-year-old Chandrashekhar, a native of Uttar Pradesh who worked as a labourer to support his family.

The entire episode was caught on a nearby CCTV camera, and the footage has gone viral on social media. In the video, the driver can be seen dragging the victim with his car before running him over and fleeing the spot.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 5 pm when four to five men travelling in a Scorpio were heading towards Sikar Highway. Their vehicle allegedly collided with a car, leading to a heated argument. The Scorpio occupants smashed the car’s windows, and as the dispute escalated, a crowd gathered at the scene.

In the chaos, Chandrashekhar fell on the road. The Scorpio driver, in a bid to escape, recklessly ran the vehicle over him. He was rushed to Kanwatia Hospital in a critical condition, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The incident sparked outrage in the area, with a large crowd gathering in protest. Police rushed to the spot, brought the situation under control, and assured strict action. Authorities said efforts are underway to trace the Scorpio and identify the attackers, who will be arrested soon.
