Registration For TG TET 2024 II Begins

HYDERABAD: The Department of School Education, Telangana has released the notification for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) for the January session.

According to the official notification, the TG TET 2024 (II) exam is scheduled to be held in a computer-based mode from January 1, 2025 to January 20, 2025.

The last date for submitting application is November 20, 2024.

How to apply for TG TET January 2024

Step 1: Visit the official TGTET website or .

Step 2: Select the ‘online application’ link.

Step 3: Fill up the registration details and click on submit

Step 4: Log through the registered details and fill in personal details and educational qualifications

Step 5: Upload the required documents and certificates.

Step 6: Make payment and apply.

Step 7: Save a copy for reference.

The TG TET exam determines qualification to teach Classes 1 to 8 in government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, and both private aided and unaided schools across Telangana.

Candidates who have completed or are in their final year of a teaching diploma programme (DElEd, DEd, or BEd) or hold equivalent qualifications such as language pandit certifications are eligible.

Candidates who previously appeared for the TG TET can retake it to improve their scores.

The Department of School Education in Telangana conducts the TET twice a year in two phases.

This year, the first phase occurred in May, with approximately 2,35,000 candidates participating. Of these, around 1,09,000 successfully passed the exam.
