Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], November 8 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party leader (BJP) Kavinder Gupta attacked the ruling National Conference- Congress government and said that the terror attacks in the state had increased after two village defence guards were killed in an attack in Kishtwar.
Speaking to ANI, Gupta said "These incidents have taken a rise after the new government has been elected here. The photos of the martyrs that we received showed that they were killed in a very brutal manner. Such an incident taking place in Kishtwar is very unfortunate. The police will be investigating further on this incident further. We have noticed that some people have been trying to create an atmosphere of terror in the state."
Meanwhile, Congress leader Ravinder Sharma said that despite reflecting via the media that the state had returned to normalcy the terrorist acts in the state reflected a contradictory condition.

"It has been shown through the media that normalcy has returned in the state, however, it is quite contradictory in reality. The incident reported in Kishtwar is very unfortunate and is very worrisome. Such an act will not be tolerated and we will appeal to the Central government to take strong action on this. The rise of the incidents in the state is very sad. I express my condolences to the families of the martyrs," he said.

Further, he said that the government should work on better security conditions and stronger forces to fight terrorism in the state.
"Salute to all the forces who fight these terrorists, but it seems that the government will have to work on better security conditions and stronger forces to fight terrorism in the state," the Congress leader added. (ANI)
