'What A Great..' Rajat Bedi Reveals Vivek Agnihotri's Reaction To The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Rajat Bedi has made a big comeback to the Hindi film industry with Aryan Khan’s directorial debut The Ba***ds of Bollywood.

In a recent interview, the actor opened up about how he was cast in the role by Aryan, his one condition to the star kid and The Bengal Files director Vivek Agnihotri’s reaction to the show.

Rajat Bedi opened up about the love he is receiving for the show as he told Hindustan Times, “The feedback has been crazy and overwhelming. My whole family is exposed to it now… I feel very blessed right now. I recently called Aryan an angel in my post on Instagram, and I genuinely believe that.”

He further opened up about the reaction he is receiving from the industry and revealed that filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri too texted him about the show.

He said, “People are appreciating my acting more than my looks. They are loving my performance. Apart from the audience, people from the industry are also calling me to discuss my performance. Vivek Agnihotri messaged me on Instagram saying ‘What a great resurrection’... Harshvardhan Rane messaged me.”

Rajat also revealed that his characters in Koi… Mil Gaya and Jaani Dushman - Ek Anokhi Kahani were used as reference in the show by Aryan Khan and added that he had only one condition before he signed the show.

He revealed, “I said, ‘Aryan. I'll only do your thing, if you will allow my son to assist you. I started my career with your father. My son will start his career with you’. He said, done sir… So, we had this whole deal in place and my son was with him the last 2 years.”

For the unversed, Rajat Bedi started his career as an assistant director with Shah Rukh Khan starrer 1995 film Zamaana Deewana.
