In today's digital world, smartphones have become an important part of our lives, which provide us with many facilities, but sometimes they also become the cause of our trouble, especially at night or when we are engaged in some important work, due to repeated calls or notifications, to deal with this problem people put their phones on silent. But many times you miss important calls. But the solution to your worry is the "Emergency Bypass" setting which allows calls from specific contacts to ring even when your phone is silent, let's know complete information about it-

Why do you need this setting

By enabling the Emergency Bypass feature, you can choose some numbers whose calls will always ring, even if your phone is set to silent or do not disturb mode.

How to Set Up Emergency Bypass on iPhone

Open Contacts: Go to the “Contacts” app and choose the contact you want to allow access even when your phone is on silent mode.

Edit Contact: Tap the “Edit” option in the top right corner of the contact details screen.

Choose Ringtone: Scroll down to find the “Ringtone” option and tap on it.

Enable Emergency Bypass: In the ringtone settings, you will see the option for “Emergency Bypass.” Turn it on.

Save: After enabling Emergency Bypass, tap “Done” to save the changes.

Now, even if your phone is on silent mode, incoming calls from that contact will ring at full volume, ensuring you don’t miss any important calls.

For Android Users

Unfortunately, Android phones don’t have the same built-in Emergency Bypass feature as iPhones. However, you can achieve the same result using a third-party app available on the Google Play Store.
