Apple recently unveiled its new iOS 26, which has added many new features along with an all-new design. However, iOS 26 is currently available in a beta version. In such a situation, if you are also using the latest iOS version and are troubled by the battery backup of the iPhone, then you must turn on a simple but very useful setting.
Apple is introducing a new Adaptive Power Mode in this new update, which, in combination with the existing Low Power Mode, can further improve the battery life of your iPhone. While Low Power Mode imposes a lot of restrictions, Adaptive Power Mode is even more advanced than that. It can help in providing better battery backup without reducing performance.
What does Adaptive Power Mode do?
When you use your device heavily, Adaptive Power Mode automatically makes small performance changes to help your iPhone last longer. Apple says this includes slightly reducing the brightness of the display or giving some tasks a little more time to complete. This feature works in the background without the limitations of low power mode, although if your device's battery drops to 20%, low power mode may still be active.
The new setting will be available only in these iPhone models
This power mode works through Apple Intelligence, which means that only those devices that have support for Apple's AI can use this setting. Let's know in which phones you get this setting...
iPhone 15 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro Max
iPhone 16e
iPhone 16
iPhone 16 Plus
iPhone 16 Pro
iPhone 16 Pro Max
This feature will not work on iPhone 14 Pro or earlier models as they do not have AI features. Also, to use this feature, it is necessary to have the beta version of iOS 26 installed on your phone.
How to turn on Adaptive Power Mode?
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Then tap on the battery option.
Here, you have to click on Power Mode.
Now turn on the toggle for Adaptive Power Mode.
