Railways: Golden opportunity for 10th, 12th, ITI pass to get jobs on Railway Apprenticeship posts, apply soon..

This is a golden opportunity for the youth who are dreaming of doing a government job in the railways. Recruitment has been issued by Southern Railway (SR) to fill 3518 posts of apprenticeship. The online application process for this recruitment has started, which will continue till the last date, 25 September 2025. Candidates eligible for recruitment can fill the form by visiting the official website of Southern Railway sr.indianrailways.gov.in, through online mode to join it.

Eligibility and Criteria

To participate in this recruitment, the candidate must have passed 10th / 12th / ITI according to the trade/post. Along with this, the minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 15 years, and the maximum age should not be more than 22 / 24 years, according to the post. The reserved category will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, appointments will be made for a total of 3518 posts in Southern Railway. Out of this, 1394 posts are reserved for Carriage & Wagon Works, Perambur Apprentice, 857 posts for Central Workshop, Golden Rock Apprentice, and 1267 posts for Signal and Telecom Workshop Units, Podanur Apprentice.

Application Process

To apply for this recruitment, first visit the official website sr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Click on Act Apprentice 2025-26 on the home page of the website.

On the new page, first click on the Register link and enter the required details.

After registration, click on Login and complete the form by filling in the other details.

Pay application fee (if applicable).

Finally, submit the form, take a printout of it, and keep it safe.

Application Fee

Candidates from all other categories will have to deposit Rs 100 as a fee. SC, ST, PWD and female candidates of all categories can apply free of cost to participate in the recruitment.

Stipend
In this recruitment, freshers (10th pass) will be given a stipend of Rs 6000 per month. Apart from this, candidates who have passed 12th and ITI will be given a stipend of Rs 7000 per month if selected. To get more information, candidates must go through the official notification once.
