Bihar School Examination Board i.e. BSEB has released the schedule of Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 for the third phase. BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore announced in a press conference that the third phase of Teacher Eligibility Test 2025 will be held from 10 May to 15 May 2025. A total of 30,221 candidates have applied online to appear in the third phase. The committee has set a target to release its results by 31 May 2025.

What if you do not pass in the third phase?

For the third phase, applications were invited for teachers of classes 1 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 10, and 11 to 12. This exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. Candidates who do not pass the third phase can pay the online application fee for the fourth phase on 2 and 3 June 2025. The fourth phase will be held on 15 and 16 June 2025 and its result can be declared by 30 June 2025.

What if you do not pass the fourth phase also?

If the candidates do not pass the fourth phase also, then they can pay the application fee for the fifth phase on 2 and 3 July 2025. The fifth phase examination will be held on 15 and 16 July 2025 and its results will be released by 31 July 2025.

Two phases of this qualifying examination have already been completed. A total of 1,99,027 candidates appeared in the first phase, out of which 1,87,818 passed, while in the second phase, 80,713 candidates appeared and 65,716 candidates passed.

Minimum qualifying marks
General: 40 per cent
Backward Class (BC): 36.5 percent
Economically Backward Class (EBC): 34 per cent
SC/ST: 32 percent
Disabled or differently abled candidates: 32 percent
Female candidates: 32 per cent
