Chelsea have been handed two potentially huge transfer updates regardinglong-term target Victor Osimhen. The Blues want to sign another two attackers in the remaining weeks of the summer trading period while also sanctioning wholesale exits and loans.
Filling one of the voids looks set to be Jamie Gittens as Negotiations with Borussia Dortmund are at an advanced stage. The German club continue to demand his £60million asking price is met but a possible compromise could be reached over a fee or the deal's payment structure.
A versatile addition for their frontline is also wanted with Hugo Ekitike and Joao Pedro appearing to be the main targets. At least £85million will be required to sign either and thus exits will be needed.

Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku are the stars most likely to help Chelsea raise significant funds while Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, Armando Broja and Kepa Arrizabalaga are just a few also free to depart permanently.
On the subject of loans, seeing how Andrey Santos and Djorde Petrovic thrived during their temporary spells at Strasbourg in the 2024/25 season, more young players will likely head to Chelsea's sister-club. Kendry Paez, Mathis Amougou, Mike Penders and Aaron Anselmino are just a few names that could move.
If all of the above are not at the club for the 2025/26 campaign, there will be plenty of space to accommodate new signings. However, if Chelsea are unable to meet the lofty asking prices set by Brighton and Eintracht Frankfurt, respectively, they could look elsewhere.
Osimhen would comfortably cost less than both, but it looks as though that statement is only true for the next two-and-a-half weeks. That is because, according to Turkish outlet Fotomac, the £67million release clause in his Napoli contract will no longer be active beyond Tuesday, July 15.
As opposed to accepting lower offers if that fee is not met, it has been claimed in their report that the Italian champions will actually demand more and therefore if Chelsea want to strike, it must be in the next fortnight.
There is also the Galatasaray factor to consider with his former loan club keen on bringing him back on a permanent basis. Having already signed Leroy Sane, the Turkish champions are looking to establish themselves as a serious contender in Europe.
Fenerbahce were their closest challengers domestically but they still finished 11 points behind. As such, it appears as thoughJose Mourinho does not want that to happen again with a shock agreement struck to sign former Aston Villa star Jhon Duran from Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.
That deal going through will likely result in Galatasaray knowing they must bring in Osimhen again to continue their dominance especially with Alvaro Morata not at the club anymore and Mauro Icardi still recovering from a long-term injury.
