"I told them, and I'm not exaggerating, when I said, guys, bring your boots, bring your shorts, bring your T-shirts, and let's play every ball together. We want to do something special. That place has to be something special, something that we haven't seen. And I really hope that everybody that comes tomorrow to the Emirates and is watching and following us, brings that energy with them."
Now, as supporters start to make their way to N7, the club have posted another motivating speech from the Spaniard with another cry for their support this evening. A video of Arteta speaking to a camera from the centre-circle at the Emirates Stadium was posted alongside a passionate message.
"It's our time. It's time to make it happen," he said. "I need you. I need the person next to you. I need that connection. I want you to play every single ball with us. Every pass, every tackle, every run, every decision.
"You need to live the energy of the stadium and the people next to you. I count on you."
