I've spent £758,000 to become perfect but my beauty is a prison

An influencer who claims to have splashed out £758,000 on her quest for perfection, has revealed that her beauty has become a "prison".

Brazilian model Janaina Prazeres recently hit the headlines after being crowned the 'Perfect Woman' by Playboy due to her body's proportions. But the 35 year old, who first went under the knife at just 18, is now questioning whether her stunning looks are more of a curse than a blessing.

With over 621,000 followers on Instagram, she admits that her new title and beauty come with significant drawbacks. "People expect me to be impeccable all the time," the Sao Paulo native told NeedToKnow.

"Any small flaw becomes a reason for criticism. If I'm without makeup, for example, I get comments saying I look like a completely different person. The expectation is not only exhausting but also distances me from living a more carefree and spontaneous life. My appearance has become a prison."

Janaina is also fed up with people constantly objectifying her. She added: "Being too beautiful sometimes makes people view me as an object or a trophy. It is also difficult to maintain female friendships, as I often sense a competitive and envious atmosphere.

"This makes it hard to form genuine relationships. I have learned to stand up for myself and set boundaries, so that people respect me beyond my physical appearance. Any small flaw becomes a reason for criticism.

"Some work opportunities have even been limited because my beauty often overshadows my other qualities, which leads people to underestimate my professional skills." Janaina has splashed out around £228,000 ($300,000) on plastic surgery to achieve her current look, including nose jobs, liposuction and even rib removal.

Despite the challenges she's faced, she has no intention of stopping her body and face modifications. Her extensive list of surgeries includes three nose jobs, two nose reconstruction surgeries, four liposuctions with a BBL (Brazilian Bum Lift). She's also had a facelift, buccal fat removals, spider web lifts, a lip lift, three boob jobs and reconstruction, four neck fat removals and a rib removal.

Janaina has also been getting regular Botox (every three months) over the past 10 years, lip filler, filler in her bum, legs, chin and under eyes, as well as face lasering, anti-aging drips and veneers. She added: "Over the years, I've spent more than one million dollars (USD) on these procedures including hospitalisations, botched surgeries, health insurance, and recovery.

"But my journey isn't over - I am now getting $100,000 reconstruction surgery for my butt. Being considered 'perfect' does not define who I truly am.

"There's so much more to me than what people see. I hope that, in the future, women will be recognised not only for their beauty but also for their other qualities and merits."
