Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has clapped back at keyboard warriors who left nasty remarks on snaps showcasing her in a lovely light blue two-piece from the Celebs Go Dating finale.
Posing at the splashy poolside celebration, she shared a glam pic with her beau Robbie Talbot and expressed her fondness for the shot, adding "Love this pic." She jokingly mused that they resembled a more mature version of Love Island sweethearts, yet admitted to receiving a few peculiar comments.
The soap actress then reposted a couple of the scathing critiques from her followers to her Instagram Story, which kicked off with someone hinting "Baby vibes? " followed by observations about her physique, with one particularly bold comment querying, "You don't look as thin as normal. Are you preggers? "
Not taking the harsh words to heart, Helen showcased another chic poolside photo wearing a bikini. Along with it, she defiantly stated: "I'm a UK size 6, if I've started to put weight on it's because maybe I'm happier and not anxious and worked up all the time so eating more." She concluded positively with a tribute to her figure: "I'm really proud of my body, it's given me three beautiful children."

Helen has opened up about her burgeoning romance with Robbie, who she started dating early in 2024 concurrently to appearing on Celebs Go Dating. In a candid revelation, Helen admitted taking him onto the series despite his disinterest in reality TV during an interview with Lorraine Kelly last Monday, reports OK!.
"It's not his thing at all," she confided. "He's a really blokey bloke, and coming on a reality show is not his thing. But he's really sweet. He came on the show with me. I thought it was really nice because I remember watching Celebs Go Dating as a single mum last year."
She reflected on moments of doubt about love and shared her happiness at showcasing a positive relationship which is significant for other single mothers. Following her split from ex-fiance Scott Sinclair in 2022, Helen candidly discussed her past relationship while guesting on Charlotte Dawson's Naughty Corner podcast.
"I still love him very much, I care about him deeply, but we don't like each other. We don't like each other at all, we don't get on. I do know that Scott - he'd never admit it - cares about me too and he does love me."
