Kane finally winning a trophy barely two months before turning 32 will inevitably impact . , which was said to be worth £67million during the .
He, however, reputedly has to exercise such a deal. Kane recently refused to comment on the clause.
"What I can say is that I'm very happy at FC Bayern," he said when addressing the rumours in February. However, it is reported that the release clause will drop to £54million next January.
Shortly after making the move to Bayern, Kane refused to rule out the possibility of returning to the Premier League one day - with Alan Shearer's goalscoring record in sight. Shearer bagged 260 Premier League goals during his career, with Kane stuck on 213 since his transfer to Germany in 2023.
Speaking at a press conference where he was unveiled as a Bayern player, Kane said: "It's always going to be a tough decision; I was at Tottenham for 19 years of my life, so everyone knows the club is connected with me and my heart. But ultimately, I'm a professional and I've always pushed myself to my limits and I just felt like the time was right.
"I needed to be playing at the highest level, in the Champions League, trying to win titles every year. When I thought about it and Bayern got in touch, it was a decision I wanted to make.
"People will talk about the record and Shearer, but I've got plenty of football left in my career. For now, it's about trying to achieve things here and trying to push myself and the team to try and reach new levels with this club. That's all my focus is on right now."
Kane's net worth is estimated at £75million in the last year. That represented a rise from £51million in 2023 to the highest point of his career, almost doubling in just two years.
Signing a reported £86.4million, four-year contract with Bayern with a £30million signing-on fee has contributed to that increase. Kane is also said to have a property portfolio worth over £13million.
Much of the discussion surrounding Kane and his future makes mention of the player's family; he is married to Katie Kane, née Goodland, and has four children: Henry, Louis, Ivy and Vivienne. They joined him in Munich last January 2024 five months after moving to Germany, with his kids now attending school there.
Shortly after making his move to Germany, Kane said: "Kate's very supportive, she wants the best for me and wants me to be happy. We're here now, we have a few things to consider, and we will take all that in our stride."
Asked by FQ Magazine about parenthood, Kane said: "I try to be a hands-on dad as much as I can. Of course, I spend a lot of time at the training ground and travelling with the team. But it really is a team effort between me and my partner, sharing the load as much as possible. I really enjoy doing it."
