was, once again, given his marching orders during Fenerbahce's showdown with his old club - following a heated reaction to a decision that didn't go in favour of his team.
The Portuguese manager was livid when his side were denied a penalty just before the 60-minute mark as Manuel Ugarte made contact with full-back Bright Osayi-Samuel. Osayi-Samuel dramatically fell to the ground after Ugarte attempted a tackle just as he passed the ball away.
Referee Clement Turpin dismissed the penalty claim and there was no review, with replays clearly indicating minimal contact between the two players. That didn't prevent the Fenerbahce bench from reacting angrily - when Osayi-Samuel went down - with Diogo Dalot eventually kicking the ball out to allow him to receive treatment.
During the pause in play, the fourth official managed to calm things down on the touchline and Turpin walked over to the Fenerbahce technical area to dish out a red card. It wasn't immediately clear who had been sent-off, but that man eventually made his way to a platform just behind the dugout.
