has only just begun, but a new twist has already been introduced to the show to shake things up. Monday night's launch episode saw 13 new contestants enter the famed house and start to get to know each other.
Presenters and paid tribute to the show's history while welcoming the new batch of housemates to the social experiment. As the new arrivals started to settle in, they were quickly told about this season's first major twist - the killer nomination. Reigning CBB champion revealed that the three housemates chosen to enter the Prize Room will have a massive decision to make.
They will be given three choices: immunity, which keeps them protected; guardian angel, which allows them to give immunity to another housemate; or killer nomination, where they will be forced to put another housemate at risk.

Less strategic prizes in the Prize Room that contestants can pick from in the future include contact with the outside , a pair of slippers, a teddy bear, or coffee.
Hollywood actor was the first celebrity chosen to enter the Prize Room, and he chose the guardian angel option. His decision means one of his housemates will be protected from the first public vote.
However, Mickey should have considered protecting himself with immunity, as he has already sparked controversy among viewers who are after his behaviour on launch night.

During his introduction the Sin City actor made things awkward when he twirled show host AJ Odudu around, pulled her towards him, and then eyed her up before commenting on her outfit. When Mickey continued to stare, AJ warned him, "Stop looking at me."
Hosts AJ and Will then had to physically guide him into the house as his slow pace began to delay the live show. Despite his rocky start with the CBB presenters, Mickey's co-stars greeted him with an enthusiastic conga line when he arrived.
Just like viewers have a clear idea of who they want to be chucked out of the Big Brother house, they also are pretty certain of who they think will win this year's series of CBB.
Several fans took to social media last night revealing their opinion that Trisha Godard will be the one to nab the top spot. The former TV presenter has been open about the terminal cancer diagnosis she received last year, and many Brits watching CBB at home think she deserves to win for the strength she has shown while facing this difficult ordeal.
Trisha has shared her motivation behind entering the Big Brother house this year, saying: "I've been asked to do it every single year, and I’ve always thought, ‘Are you kidding me?’
"When I told my daughter she made a really good point. I’ve got my and I’ve really been banging on about the language used when it comes to cancer and about services that are needed so people can live their best lives.
"I shout into Instagram but being on would show people how you can live successfully with cancer and not be so scared of dying that you become scared of living. So that’s why I’m doing it."
