Celebrity Big Brother's AJ Odudu's rocky love life from cheating heartbreak to mystery man

is back on our screens for the new series of , co-hosting alongside . But away from TV fame, the 37 year old has encountered a turbulent love life, from cheating heartbreaks to rumoured romances.

Blackburn-born AJ has been a staple on our screens for over a decade and is now marking her second stint as the which kicked off on Monday, 7 April. With a successful on-screen partnership with Will, we've taken a look at AJ's relationships away from the cameras...

Thepresenter has been private about relationships in the past and has only hinted at a few possible romances. However, she's been open about some difficult times when it comes to her love life, including the time her partner slept with her best friend.

AJ's heartbreaking past

Heartbreakingly, when she appeared on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2019, AJ revealed that she had been cheated on in past relationships. She said: "I've been cheated on by three ex-boyfriends. One of them was sleeping with my best friends." AJ shared that this left her with trust issues when seeking other relationships.

In March last year, the TV star confessed that her former flames have 'haunted' her for years. Speaking on the How to Fail podcast with Elizabeth Day in March, she reflected on the time she caught her partner cheating. "On that day I was actually at my brother's and I'd had the best time but I was also really excited to go back and see my boyfriend. We'd made all of these plans and I was so excited. He'd not answered his phone, which I thought was unusual," she said.

AJ added: "I was stunned and it was like this person had made out that they loved me and they see their future with me. And it was completely reciprocated; we were, in my mind, building towards a positive future together. [He was] the most nice and genuine person, fun to be around and someone I wouldn't expect to behave in that way."

During her time on in 2018, AJ also opened up about her love life. She confessed: "All my past relationships have gone wrong. Dating have failed to deliver. I've had loads of failed relationships. Sometimes I'm just too much for them, other times they are not enough for me – and a couple of times I've been cheated on."

'Catching feels'

While on Manhunting with my Mum, AJ got to know Timini Egbuson but sadly the relationship between the two didn't end up going any further. When advertising the show, AJ posted a photo of the pair of them which she captioned: "Friday: Don't be afraid to catch feels."

The pair never confirmed if they went any further than the show, but Timini also posted a sweet snap of the two of them on his . He wrote: "Congratulations @ajodudu #ManhuntingWithMyMum premiered on last night and it was amazing. "I’m happy I was a part of it but more importantly I’m happy that I met you."

In the same year, AJ shared a photo alongside a man called Jordan, which left fans wondering if they were romantically linked. The relationship was never confirmed but when a fan commented 'your man?,' the pair of them both liked the comment. However, it seems that the romance didn't last as they weren't pictured again.

The Strictly curse

and her 2024 Strictly dance pro Kai Widdrington were more than just dance partners. Kai and AJ appeared on BBC's It Takes Two following rumours that their relationship had been confirmed, but they didn't admit to anything.

said: "If people want to think that, then great... but we were just doing our job, and AJ did a great job." Fans particularly latched onto the rumours after the couple's Movie Week performance as they danced to Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing.

At the end of their dance Kai was heard telling TV presenter: "Aww I I love you, I love you so much," as they hugged. AJ then admitted that she enjoyed how everyone was talking about them.

The reported that the star said: "I find it exciting that everyone’s interested in us enough to take note of all of these things. The way I see it is, everyone can see how well we’re getting on and how hard we’re working in order to try our best each and every week to put in a solid performance."

During their Halloween week rehearsals, AJ and Kai were visited by her nieces and nephews as she got ready to take on the role of Medusa. She told her family: "I’m really loving it, I love learning new dances, I like all the costumes and I really like Kai." This then led to one of her nephews saying: "Why don’t you just kiss him?"

Then the following week, host Claudia Winkleman asked Kai to give his partner a kiss as they were interviewed after their performance but he just gave AJ a kiss on the hand instead. AJ acknowledged the rumours as she said: "It’s all just a bit of fun, isn’t it?

"I mean, at the end of the day, me and Kai are just focused on the Strictly experience as a whole, and we’re just focused on dancing and putting our best performance forward each and every week. "So none of that stuff bogs us down at all. We don’t have time to be pressed to be totally honest with you. "And Claudia is so lovely, and is so kind to us each and every week, so it’s all fun and games."

Mystery man

In March last year, AJ hinted at a new romance with a cryptic social media post while on holiday in New York. Whilst she didn't disclose who was accompanying her on the trip, she hinted it could be a potential love interest.

The presenter shared a photo of two different trainers as she appeared to rest her foot next to someone else's. Fans could see that the shoes were reverse colours of each other with AJ's appearing to be white with black stripes while her lucky companion had black trainers with white stripes.

Fuelling romance rumours, alongside a love heart emoji, the star penned: "It's very this..." Not much more is known about the mystery man on the trip, or whether AJ remains single.
