"Why would u record this. It's your fathers private life, doesn't need to be aired," one angered user shared while another posted: "ABSOLUTELY shocking, how on earth do u think this is going to help him ,as a family u should educate urself about alcoholism and not let cameras film."

"Why would you film this about your dad?" one questioned and another added: "God, fancy living your life on camera like this. It's disgusting. Some things should be private." However, some thought the scenes were important for people to see, with one fan commenting: "I think she's actually really brave and real for sharing all of this. Earlier this year on ITVBe's Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries, if he carried on doing what he was doing after talking to the doctor. In August, Billie's sister Sam revealed was taking positives steps towards his recovery.

She shared a series of pictures with her stepdad as she enjoyed a visit after he begun his first rehab stint. She said: "As a family, we are so proud of you, Dad. Recently, you have faced a couple of difficult episodes due to your alcoholism. This is your first time in rehab, and we want you to know how much we love you and that we are here to support you through this journey. On my visit Dad wanted a curry & a head shave. Dad and I made a short video because he said he wants to share his journey and hopefully help others who are going through the same thing one day @chatty.dave."
