Noel Fielding has caused to descend into chaos.

who fronts the show with telly favourite will be seen in tonight's episode joking around with each contestant in the tent. However, one move sparks absolute chaos while the bakers are working on their Signature challenge. With just 15 minutes before the gripping deadline, Noel smashed up a bowl full of Nelly's ingredients sparking panic.

During the scenes, Noel is seen making a ball out of Nelly's remaining dough before using her rolling pin as a bat. "Is this leftovers?" he asked Nelly, before saying: "We can throw this at someone!" A contestant also held out his cap in a daring attempt to catch the ball of delicious dough.

But while attempting to hit the ball of dough, he accidentally knocked over the glass mixing bowl filled with caramel, leading it to completely smash across the floor of the tent. "You didn't need that?" he asked Nelly while holding his hand over his mouth in complete shock.

"Yes, I did," she complained as each contestant looked on in horror while Noel exclaimed: "Oh my God! What are we going to do? Have we got time to make some more?" However, in a bid that saw Noel escape landing in trouble, Nelly confirmed that they did have time to create more, joking that she would be driven home in a posh car, in a clip obtained by .

The drama comes just one week after a contestant walked away from the famous tent in tears after their bake went incredibly wrong. John, who has been wowing viewers and judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith over the past few weeks, had a tough time during bread week. Achieving a Hollywood handshake during bread week - Paul's speciality - is notoriously difficult, but things took a turn for the worse for John during his Showstopper bake.

When his bagels didn't rise to the surface as expected, he was overcome with emotion and left the tent, with later going to comfort him. Alison tried to lift his spirits by sharing a story from her time on when she knew she'd be leaving, but her dance partner reassured her by saying 'Don't worry, the other person could fall over'.

Later, when Prue and Paul went to inspect the bagels, John told them to "not even bother" as Paul admitted he couldn't eat them. When John explained that the bagels sunk in the water, Paul suggested: "It sounds like you overproved them so when they hit the hot water, it forces them to drop so by the time you get them, they're flat." John proudly presented his lemon and ginger buns, but the verdict from Paul was that they lacked adequate lemon zest and needed more proofing time. In a light-hearted response to the judges' scrutiny over the bagels, John suggested, "Use it as a frisbee".

Ultimately, it was John's turn to leave the show. He took the news of his departure well, remarking to his peers: "It's fine, it was expected," while receiving comfort from judges Paul and Prue.
